Adding new life to legacy rail
Transportise is our sister company for digital rail: twenty years of rolling-stock engineering — electronic design, system controls, electro-pneumatics — now aimed at digitalising the assets rail already owns. Remote condition monitoring, digital twinning and rail-certified wireless IoT that puts a monitoring point on a train for around a tenth of the cost of wired, for TOCs, ROSCOs and infrastructure owners.

Sand-level monitoring
One wireless radar head reads hopper sand level and vehicle position on track to 40 mm — live on SWR Class 450/444.
Remote condition monitoring
Level, brake pressure, suspension, vibration and temperature from rail-certified wireless kit, reactive to preventative.
Digital twinning
From out-of-the-box asset twins to full TCMS and big-data integration of stations, depots and rolling stock.
Depot & trackside safety
ContactKey and IntraPuck wearables: zone-based lone-worker safety wired into existing access control.
On South Western Railway Class 450 and 444 fleets, a single wireless point-cloud radar reads how much sand is in the hopper and where the vehicle sits on the track to 40 mm — two problems, one sensor, no wires. Transportise designed and built its own TBOX hardware to power it, then fused the readings with weather and track data to predict traction and braking performance.
With Knorr-Bremse, Transportise proved wheel-flat data could reach the driver of a legacy freight train with zero existing connectivity — while it moved. The same thesis runs through everything: wireless monitoring at roughly £100 a point against £1,000 wired, on the 90% of UK legacy vehicles that today run with almost no visibility.
