Description
The SPS-EC Conductivity Sensor measures electrical conductivity, a fast and robust proxy for dissolved ion content and overall water salinity or purity. Because conductivity shifts quickly when water composition changes, it is widely used to detect contamination, ingress, mixing and treatment performance in near real time. The sensor is applied across drinking water, industrial process water and environmental monitoring. Readings are sent over secure cellular or LoRaWAN telemetry to the AquaIoT cloud, supporting live dashboards, trend history, threshold alarms and compliance reporting. Typical UK uses include saline-intrusion detection, boiler and cooling water, demineralised and process water, and catchment monitoring. As a continuous measurement it flags step changes and slow drift that periodic sampling would miss, giving operators an early, low-cost indicator of trouble. Frequency band
Supplied on EU868, the LoRaWAN band used in the UK and across Europe. That is the default and you do not need to ask for it — the -868M in the part number is the EU868 build.
