The Smart Bin is engineered to the bins, skips or silos you actually run, so it is specified and quoted per site rather than sold from a price list. Tell us the containers, how many of them and how collections are organised today, and a costed specification comes back within one working day.
It sits in the lid and measures the distance down to the surface of the waste, then reports that as a percentage. There are no moving parts and nothing for the waste to touch.

No. The sensors report over LoRaWAN to one gateway that covers a wide area, so there is no per-bin data contract. That is what makes the running cost of a large fleet viable.
It reports the fill level it measures. A sudden jump to full that never falls after a scheduled collection is the pattern that flags a problem, and that is a rule you set in the dashboard rather than something the sensor decides.
