Description
The SPS-T-SC1 Turbidity Sensor measures turbidity, the cloudiness caused by suspended particles and one of the clearest indicators of filtration and treatment performance. Rising turbidity can signal filter breakthrough, main disturbance or contamination, so continuous measurement protects both water quality and public confidence. It is used across drinking water and wastewater, where turbidity is both an operational KPI and a regulated parameter. Readings are sent over secure telemetry to the AquaIoT dashboards, with threshold alarms and audit-ready compliance reporting built in. Typical UK deployments include treatment works, service reservoirs, final effluent and distribution monitoring. Online turbidity catches transient events that scheduled sampling routinely misses, giving operators the evidence and the reaction time they need.
