The EH2306 is an ATOP unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch with 6 ports, all 10/100BaseT(X) copper. It is the aluminium-housed, wide-temperature version of the EH2006, rated -10~70°C instead of 0~60°C, for unheated or exposed cabinets. Power input 9~30 V with redundant supply, IP30, DIN-rail mounting, 45 x 90 x 78 mm.

Description
The EH2306 with 6 RJ-45 ports has a metal housing and is designed to work in the industrial environment, such as in hazardous locations, where it complies with CE, FCC, UL and RoHS standards.
The EH2306 protects itself from receiving too many broadcast packets. During normal use, broadcast packets will be forwarded to all ports except the source port. However, it will discard broadcast or multicast packets if the number of those packets exceeds a threshold in a preset period of time. When the preset period expires (about 800ms), it will then resume receiving broadcast or multicast packets until the threshold is reached again.
The EH2306 provides two redundant power inputs that can be connectedsimultaneously to wide-range DC power sources. If one of the power inputs failure, the other live source acts as a backup to provide the EH2306 the power it needs automatically.

Which version do I need?
Within the aluminium EH23xx line the suffix is the port count: EH2305 has 5 ports (4 copper + 1 fibre), EH2306 has 6 copper, EH2308 has 8 copper. The EH2306 is the direct wide-temperature replacement for the plastic-housed EH2006.
