The EHG6408 model features 8 x 10/100/1000BASET(X) ports, which supports a port configuration mix of up to 8 x non-PoE ports and either 4 x or 8 x PoE ports.

PoE Voltage Booster Option
As part of its compact design, this switch series is available with an optional voltage booster for PoE end devices. Available on the 24V models, the PoE Voltage Boost raises the input voltage of power inputs from as low as 12V to provide Power over Ethernet to end devices. This removes the need for additional, separate power inputs, which can often be costly and space-consuming.

Which version do I need?
This page covers the EHG6408 series. ATOP's brochure lists three codes: EHG6408 (8 × non-PoE RJ45), EHG6408-4PoE-24V (4 × PoE plus 4 × non-PoE RJ45, with 12/24 VDC PoE booster) and EHG6408-8PoE-24V (8 × PoE RJ45, with booster). All have 8 Gigabit copper ports and no SFP slots. Choose the plain EHG6408 for switching only, or a -24V PoE code when cameras or access points must be powered from a 12 V or 24 V supply. The EHG6410 adds 2 × SFP fibre slots for 10 ports in total, in the same 54 × 113 × 145 mm housing and with the same PoE and booster options. The EHG6408 is copper only.
What is the difference between the EHG6408 and the EHG6508?
The EHG6508 has the same 8-port, 0/4/8 PoE and booster options but is lite-managed, with a web interface, QoS, VLAN, RSTP, SNMP and Modbus TCP. The EHG6408 is unmanaged; ATOP's guide lists SNMP and Modbus TCP as not supported on it.
