Description

The Industrial Serial Device Server SE5901 is a cost effective gateway for Ethernet (TCP/IP) and serial signal communications; allowing almost any serial device to be connected to a new or existing Ethernet network. By encapsulating serial data and transporting it over Ethernet, SE5901 offers full duplex and bi-directional data seamlessly between the serial port and the Ethernet network.

Which version do I need?

What is the difference between the SE5901 and the SE5901-SDK?

The SE5901 runs ATOP's standard serial server firmware, with TCP server, TCP client, UDP, VirtualCOM, Reverse Telnet, RSTP and VPN ready to configure. The SE5901-SDK is the programmable edge computer version: an 800 MHz ARM platform with up to 256 MB RAM and ATOP's Linux SDK for your own applications, plus two USB ports.
