TS302 is a Milesight LoRaWAN temperature sensor with an LCD screen and an IP65 enclosure, rated -30°C to +70°C. The decisive difference from the TS301 is connector count: the TS302 has two 5-pin M12 A-coded connectors, taking two temperature/humidity probes, or one temperature/humidity probe plus a magnet switch sensor. The TS301 has one. The TS302 cannot take two magnet switch sensors.

Which version do I need?
The -868M suffix is the EU868 frequency band, the correct LoRaWAN band for the UK; CN470, IN865, RU864, US915, AU915, KR920 and AS923-1&2&3&4 variants are also listed. Probes carry their own part codes (PT100: SP11-*, DS18B20: SP12-125-150, TH: SP13-125-150, magnet switch: SS21-PN03-150) and are specified separately from the logger.

Frequency band
Supplied on EU868, the LoRaWAN band used in the UK and across Europe. That is the default and you do not need to ask for it — the -868M in the part number is the EU868 build.
The same Milesight TS302 Temperature Sensor unit also covers IN865 and RU864. Those bands share the 863–870 MHz radio with EU868, so one device can be set to any of them in its own configuration — no different part number needed.
CN470, US915, AU915, KR920 and AS923 are a different radio and therefore a different build. Milesight makes them and we can order them: tell us where the devices are being deployed and we will confirm the part number, price and lead time.

What is the difference between the TS302 and the TS301?
The number of probe connectors. The TS301 has one 5-pin M12 A-coded connector for a temperature/humidity sensor or a magnet switch sensor. The TS302 has two, so it can run two temperature/humidity sensors, or one temperature/humidity probe plus a magnet switch sensor. Everything else on the two models is shared.
Can the TS302 take two magnet switch sensors?
No. The datasheet footnote states that the TS302 does not support connecting both magnet switch sensors. One connector must carry a temperature or temperature/humidity probe.
Which probes can I fit to the TS302?
Probes are ordered separately. Options include PT100 probes (regular -40°C to 125°C, food-grade needle -40°C to 125°C, low-temperature -200°C to 50°C, high-temperature -50°C to 500°C, and a pipe-monitoring baffle version -20°C to 85°C), a DS18B20 probe (-40°C to 125°C), a TH temperature-humidity probe (-40°C to 125°C and 0-100% RH), and a magnet switch sensor.
Is the TS302 suitable for cold chain and HACCP records?
Yes. It complies with EN12830 for cold-chain applications and supports automated temperature monitoring with anti-tamper recording of data in compliance with HACCP, meeting the authenticity requirements of 21 CFR Part 11B electronic records. It logs 10,000 measurements and exports them as CSV or PDF.
How long does the TS302 run on batteries?
With two temperature/humidity sensors fitted, over 2.7 years at SF10 on EU868 and over 2.4 years on US915. With one temperature/humidity sensor plus a magnet sensor triggered 10 times a day, over 3.9 years at SF10 on EU868. Power is two 4000 mAh ER18505 Li-SOCl2 batteries, or Type-C USB at 5V/1A.
Can the TS302 trigger another device without a gateway?
Yes. It supports the Milesight D2D protocol for ultra-low latency direct control without a gateway, acting as a D2D controller and supporting D2D data transmission alongside standard LoRaWAN reporting.
