Which version do I need?
This datasheet covers the whole AM300(L) family. AM307 is the seven-in-one model with the 4.2-inch E-ink screen; AM307L is the same sensor set without the display, with around 4 years of battery life instead of 3. AM308 adds laser-scattering PM2.5 and PM10 (0 ~ 1000 μg/m³). AM319 additionally offers an electrochemical HCHO (0 ~ 1.25 mg/m³, 6-year sensor life) or O3 (0 ~ 10 ppm, 2-year sensor life) option and runs Class C. The -868M suffix is the EU868 frequency build, which is what UK LoRaWAN networks use.
Typical applications for the Milesight AM307 / AM308 / AM319 Indoor Ambience Monitoring Sensor
- Office indoor air quality monitoring
- Retail store ambience monitoring
- Classrooms
- Hospitals and healthcare spaces
- Room occupancy and vacancy detection via the built-in PIR
- CO2 threshold alerting for ventilation decisions
Buying guides for this product
Frequency band
Supplied on EU868, the LoRaWAN band used in the UK and across Europe. That is the default and you do not need to ask for it — the -868M in the part number is the EU868 build.
The same Milesight AM307 / AM308 / AM319 Indoor Ambience Monitoring Sensor unit also covers RU864 and IN865. Those bands share the 863–870 MHz radio with EU868, so one device can be set to any of them in its own configuration — no different part number needed.
CN470, US915, AU915, KR920 and AS923 are a different radio and therefore a different build. Milesight makes them and we can order them: tell us where the devices are being deployed and we will confirm the part number, price and lead time.
Not sure which band applies where? The Things Network publishes the LoRaWAN frequency plan for every country.

Milesight AM307 / AM308 / AM319 Indoor Ambience Monitoring Sensor — frequently asked questions
What does the AM307 measure?
Seven things: temperature (-20 to 60°C, ± 0.2°C), humidity (0-100% RH, ± 2%), CO2 (400-5000 ppm NDIR), TVOC (1.00-5.00 IAQ rating), barometric pressure (260-1260 hPa), light (0-60000 Lux reported as six levels) and PIR motion (80° × 55°, 5 m, vacant/occupied).
What is the difference between AM307, AM308 and AM319?
AM308 adds laser-scattering PM2.5 and PM10 measurement from 0 to 1000 μg/m³. AM319 additionally offers an electrochemical formaldehyde (HCHO, 0-1.25 mg/m³) or ozone (O3, 0-10 ppm) sensor as an alternative option, and works in OTAA/ABP Class C rather than Class A.
What batteries does it use and how long do they last?
Four 2700 mAh ER14505 Li-SOCl2 replaceable cells, quoted at around 3 years with a 10-minute reporting interval at 25°C under laboratory conditions. It can also be run from 5 V / 1 A through the Type-C port instead.
Does it need a gateway?
Yes. The AM307 uses standard LoRaWAN in OTAA/ABP Class A and is compliant with standard LoRaWAN gateways and network servers, as well as Milesight IoT Cloud.
Can it show air quality to people in the room?
Yes. It has a 4.2-inch black and white E-ink screen with multiple display modes and comfort emoticons, plus a traffic-light status indicator and a buzzer for threshold alarms. Note the E-ink screen is only rated for 0°C to 40°C, against -20°C to 60°C for the device itself.
