Description
Milesight AT101 is an exceptional outdoor tracker that utilizes GNSS
and Wi-Fi AP MAC Address Scanning to provide highly accurate
positioning data.
Additionally, it has tilt and temperature sensors for
more extensive data collection and application in various scenarios. The device is designed with IP67 and IK09 ratings to cater to different environments.
AT101 collaborates with Milesight LoRaWAN® gateway and
mainstream LoRaWAN® network servers with low power consumption, allowing it to operate for over 15 years with twice-daily reports.
By integrating with Milesight LoRaWAN® gateway and Milesight IoT Cloud
solution, users can remotely and visually manage all sensor data.

Which version do I need?
The datasheet lists selectable bands CN470/IN865/RU864/EU868/US915/AU915/KR920/AS923-1&2&3&4. UK and EU LoRaWAN networks use EU868, the band this -868M part is supplied on; the applicable transmit power is 16 dBm at 868 MHz.

Frequency band
Supplied on EU868, the LoRaWAN band used in the UK and across Europe. That is the default and you do not need to ask for it — the -868M in the part number is the EU868 build.
The same AT101-868M unit also covers IN865 and RU864. Those bands share the 863–870 MHz radio with EU868, so one device can be set to any of them in its own configuration — no different part number needed.
CN470, US915, AU915, KR920 and AS923 are a different radio and therefore a different build. Milesight makes them and we can order them: tell us where the devices are being deployed and we will confirm the part number, price and lead time.

GNSS position accuracy is 5.0 m CEP in direct line of sight, with longitude/latitude resolution of 0.000001. Time to first fix averages 37 seconds from cold start and 1 second from hot start.
Does it still locate assets indoors where GNSS fails?
Yes. It scans Wi-Fi access point BSSID and RSSI on 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz for indoor location. The device does not connect to the Wi-Fi network, so no Wi-Fi credentials are needed.
What batteries does it use and how long do they last?
Four replaceable 2700 mAh ER14505 Li-SOCl2 cells. Milesight quotes 15+ years at twice-daily location updates and 4+ years at hourly updates, tested under laboratory conditions at 25°C.
Is it rated for outdoor use?
Yes. IP67 ingress protection and IK09 impact protection, operating -30°C to +70°C at 0-95% RH non-condensing, in a UV-protected PC housing.
Does it need a LoRaWAN gateway?
Yes. It joins as OTAA/ABP Class A and works with standard LoRaWAN gateways and network servers, or with a Milesight LoRaWAN gateway and Milesight IoT Cloud.
